Victoria Avenue East - Pocket Park

A pocket park outside Redfield Educate, at the junction of Victoria Avenue and Avonvale Road. The pocket park will help stop through traffic between Avonvale Road and Church Road (A420). Making the change will also make it easier for parents and children walking, scooting, wheeling and cycling to school. The space created will provide opportunities for public realm improvements such as seating and tree planting. A parklet would be installed during the trial for people visiting the school. Residents of Draper Court will access the shared car parking via Leonard Road and Victoria Avenue. Vehicles would be unable to pass through this point, but can still access the area by alternative routes.
