Marsh Lane - Pocket Park

A pocket park next to the existing raised table on Marsh Lane. A cycle lane will be marked through the middle of the pocket park for people cycling between Marsh Lane and Church Road. This measure will also help to stop through traffic from Feeder Road traveling onto Avonvale Road towards Barton Hill and Redfield. The space created provides opportunity for public realm improvements such as seating and tree planting, whilst making it easier and safer for people walking towards Netham Park. Vehicles would not be able to pass through this point, but can still access the area by alternative routes. Residents of Barton House traveling by car will enter and exit the car park via Marsh Lane.
